What qualifies us to be a great pony party company???
With a combined 90 years of experience in all areas of animal husbandry, we have a wealth of knowledge to pull from and a flawless saftey record. The Crew and I have experience to determine which ponies are uniquely qualified to be great Party Ponies. We are also parents and know what will make a great party to keep the little ones busy and entertained.
How Can I pay??
We have several payment options. By Cash, Check ( Please put Driver license and Date of Birth on the check, thank you in advance),Certified Check, Money Order or Pay Pal.
Why would I want to have a Surrey Party instead of a Pony Party??
For one thing everyone can ride. From the youngest rider to the adults at your party, everyone gets to enjoy the activity at your event. Also, the adults do not have to walk beside the pony that is being led and holding on to their young riders. It is less work for the adult, and everyone enjoys that. Riding in a Surrey is a unique experiece that not everyone has had the pleasure of. We promise NO one else in the great state of Texas has a surrey like ours...
Is my child to young for a surrey party ??
That is what is so neat about the surrey, even the youngest can go for a ride in an adult's lap. We have had children as young as 1 year old and up in our surrey.
How Do I decide how many ponies I need???
While we can accommodate a large number of children with one pony in an hour, 12 is a good number of kids to think about adding a second pony. You can always add a petting zoo to keep the kids busy. See our price page to see our recommendation on children vs animal ratio.
Due you charge a travel fee?
Yes, due to the continued high cost of gas, we unfortunatly have to charge a travel fee of $1.00 per mile ONE WAY from our zip code of 75165. We use Mapquest to figure the distance. Our address is 912 Bells Chapel Circle Waxahachie Texas 75165. Please call or email for an exact quote.
Are you insured and licensed??
Yes we are. We have a million dollar Liabilty Insurance Policy for your peace of mind. A copy is available upon written request. However, it is recommended that the host provide an additional policy or rider to their current policy to address specific issues and risks related to the event.
We are state regulated and licensed by the federal goverment with a class "C" exhibitor license from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Our farm also complies with the centers of animal disease control and animal welfare act "AWA" regulations. We want to assure you that our animals are well cared for. Our animals are at their optimum in health and are clean when we come to your event. PERIOD.
Is the class "C" license required?
Yes, it is a federal crim to conduct a petting zoo for profit or not, without a class "C" license. Please make sure that the company you hire has a class "C" license, it is the LAW.
What does it mean when you say you are certified with the Texas Amusement Ride Department?
It means that our trackless train has been inspected and passed all saftey requirements by a Texas approved and certified inspector.
Do all trackless trains require this certification?
Yes, they are required by law to have this inspection. For the safety of your guest, make sure the train you hire has had this inspection and can show you the certificate.
Are the petting zoo animals friendly??
Yes!! All of our animals have been hand raised. Many of them have worked with us for years. They enjoy being loved on.
I have a dog, will that be a problem??
Our ponies and petting zoo animals are used to dogs and other animals. Your animals most likely are not used to our ponies in their enviroment. So that your pets will remain happy and not stressed, you may want to put them somewhere they feel safe.
What happens if we have bad weather on the date of my event?
While we cannot control the weather, we can always substitue the Petting zoo for Ponies and set it up in a garage. Or, we will be happy to reschedule your event, whichever you would like.
How long does the set up take? Is it included in the hour?
We allow 20 to 30 min to prepare the surrey and ponies. Depending on how far we have to carry zoo animals, is how long it takes to set up. Your party starts when the first ride starts or the first animal is being and loved. If we are late due to traffic or other uncontrollable reasons, you will still get an entire hour of entertainment!
I don't have a back yard, how much space do you need?
We can drive the surrey down a quite neighborhood road, park, or a long driveway. Our ponies and or petting zoo can work just about anywhere, a front yard, sidewalk, parking lot or side yard. They have traveled far and wide. We don't need much space to make your child's dream come true.
When should I reserve the party?
As soon as you have decided on a day and time. We will write you down on our schedule as soon as we recieve your deposit and signed contract. Prices and availability are not guaranteed until booked.
Do you only do birthday parties?
While the majority of our business is private parties, we would like for you to consider us for school events, anniversaries, weddings, business promotions, grand openings, holiday events and fund raisers. No matter how small or large we can make your event special.
